**Job Purpose**

The role of the Kitchen Porter is to support our catering team to help prepare and deliver catering services for the residents within our care home. Our residents deserve to live full, happy and healthy lives. Delivering support and companionship to residents so they enjoy each day and a nutritious balanced enjoyable diet in line with their meal plans.

**Main duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of high-quality food.
- Clean areas as detailed in the work schedule.
- Assist with the service meals.
- Clear up/wash up after meals.
- Ensure Food Hygiene and Health & Safety recommendations are complied with

**Experience**
- Experience is not essential as full training will be company funded and fully supported. We are looking for the right behaviours, care and compassion to deliver exceptional support to our residents
- £10.42 per hour
- £13.03 per hour on weekends
- £20.84 per hour on bank holidays
