**Job Title: Perinatal Consultant**

**Role Overview**:
As a Perinatal Consultant, you will be a specialised medical professional responsible for providing expert care and guidance to pregnant individuals, ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and baby. Your role encompasses clinical management, advisory services, and collaboration with healthcare teams to enhance perinatal health.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Clinical Care**:

- Conduct comprehensive antenatal assessments and screenings.
- Manage high-risk pregnancies, making informed medical decisions.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and neonatologists for integrated patient care.

**Consultation and Advising**:

- Offer expert advice to pregnant individuals and their families.
- Address concerns and provide information on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.

**Education and Training**:

- Conduct educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
- Engage in community outreach programs to promote perinatal health awareness.

**Qualifications**:

- Medical degree and specialised training in obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK.
- Membership or Fellowship with relevant professional bodies.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong clinical expertise in perinatal care.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.

**Salary**: From £70.00 per hour
