**Job Title**: Enrichment Officer
**Salary**:£22,150 - 24,190 p/a Pro Rata
**Hours**: 37 hours per week - 40 weeks term time
**Reporting to**: Line Manager within the Student Engagement Team.
**Job Purpose**
The Student Engagement team offers a vibrant enrichment provision, designed to encourage personal, social and emotional development, promoting health and wellbeing, skill development and carefully complimenting academic success.
The Enrichment Officer will liaise with the Head of Student Engagement to plan and deliver bespoke sessions for students that are fully inclusive, resonating the student voice with a range of tailored activities available each day on campus, supplying aplatform for our Student Union to thrive.

**Responsibilities**
- To support the development of Cross-College Student Engagement and ensure there is a diverse range of activities that enrich the student experience.
- Respond to the Student Voice within the College, to ensure the enrichment provision is fully inclusive, accessible and meets the interest of students.
- To support the planning of the full enrichment provision and deliver an exciting timetable with a range of sporting, creative, educational and skill enhancing activities that reach the college group in its entirety.
- To facilitate and lead on activities, on and off site for the college group in its entirety.
- To support the Student Union and maximise opportunities for the Student Ambassadors programme.
- To plan and facilitate according to associated budgets, policies and procedures.
- To develop a catalogue of internal and external contacts through exciting project delivery and sharing best practice.
- To support the delivery of a variety of cross College activities/events that enhance student personal development, behaviour and welfare, in line with the annual events calendar and planning structure.
- To collate relevant data and ensure the impact on the students is evidenced and adds value to an outstanding student experience.
- Support the smooth delivery of enterprise and volunteering opportunities for students and facilitate participation within the community.
- Ensure that workload is well managed, time and cost effective within the team.
- To effectively communicate ideas, experiences and provide feedback to line manager.
- To develop strong, positive working relationships with internal and external colleagues.
- To actively show a commitment to the Departmental Strategic Objectives.
- To show an active commitment to the College's Equality and Diversity Policy, Quality Frameworks and Health & Safety Procedures.
- To actively participate in Continuous Professional Development including the introduction of new technologies to allow you to contribute effectively to the success of the College.
- To carry out such other appropriate duties commensurate with your skills, knowledge and experience.
- The College may, in consultation with you, need to vary these duties from time to time to respond to the changing requirements of the College.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Youth related work i.e., coaching, training, education (or equivalent)
- Outdoor Activity qualification
- Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Personal commitment to Continued Professional Development/ evidence of own personal development. (CPD log)
**Experience**
- Experience of working in a further/higher education environment and engaging stakeholders at various levels.
- Experience in planning and delivering a range of sporting, creative, educational and entertaining activities to groups of young people, that meet the interest of the 'student voice’ and enhance the overall learner experience.
- Experience delivering sessions that promote equality, diversity and inclusion and raising awareness of key themes and social issues, impartially.
- Experience with youth engagement in the community i.e., social action projects, citizenship, outward bounds.
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Experience of making a positive impact with students.
- Knowledge of current social trends, themes and issues.
- Knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 and Keeping Children Safe in Education 2021
- Knowledge of the Ofsted Inspection Framework
- Knowledge of student enterprise and volunteering opportunities in the local and wider community.
- The ability to use IT to a high level of competence
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to receive, integrate and produce accurate and timely reports on relevant statistical information.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- The ability to interact positively with young people.
- The ability to think creatively and be innovative in introducing new concepts.
- Highly motivated and confident and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
