A well established and growing accountancy firm with offices in Cambourne near Cambridge and at Canary Wharf in London, and with a reputation for high-quality service, is seeking to recruit an Office Manager at their busy offices in Cambourne. The firm providesservices to a wide range of clients, from small and medium size growth businesses and individuals to multi-national corporations.

You will be reporting to Manager level.

Responsibilities for the role of Office Manager:

- Handling incoming telephone calls both internally and externally
- Filing and archiving
- Updating records on the internal management system and maintaining accurate records
- Keeping timesheets
- Making suggestions on how to improve the firm’s workflow processes and procedures
- Other duties as may reasonably be requested from time to time

Experience of the following would be an advantage for the role of Office Manager:

- Experience in working in Practice as an Office Manager
- Preparing and dispatch of standard letters, requesting and sending reminders
- Providing ad-hoc administration support, including photocopying, faxing and other clerical duties
- Holding relevant positions of responsibility, such as first aider, fire marshaling

Person Specification:

- this position requires confidence, flexibility and enthusiasm
- must be a very clear and confident communicator
- the role is office based although occasional working from home is permitted
- part-time working may be considered

Other Information:

- remuneration package includes a basic salary, reviewed annually, approved contributory pension
