Hargate Healthcare are recruiting a Registered Manager for a new children's home in Earls Barton, Northamptonshire. The service will be home to 3 young people aged 8-18 years with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
**The Role of Registered Manager**
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the young people's placement and their support with emotional and mental wellbeing. In line with company policies, you will liaise with all multi-disciplinary staff working within the Children's Home, promotinga milieu therapeutic approach. You will take the lead in developing, implementing, monitoring and review of standards across the home to ensure all young people receive outstanding care. You will establish and maintain a competent, motivated, and confidentstaff team providing supervision and development to the whole team. You will act as the safeguard lead taking responsibility and managing child protection concerns.
**Registered Manager Benefits**:
- Salary of £38,000 to £45,000 pa

**Registered Manager Requirements**:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
- 5 years' experience in Children's Homes
- 2 years' experience of management in Children's Homes
- Experience of current Ofsted Inspection Framework
- Sound knowledge of governing legislation, procedures, and best practice in caring for children
- Experience of working with young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs (Desirable)
- Experience in the delivery of staff training (Desirable)
