**Salary**: £28,000 - £31,930

Location: Lancaster

Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a **Arboricultural Surveyor** for a well known company which is globally known.

Working as part of a team, you will undertake vegetation management on an 8 year contract managing vegetation, in the Northwest and Cumbria region but will ideally be based in Lancaster.

**The Role**:
Working from home and reporting to the Team Manager you will negotiate with landowners and tenants, create clear and concise work packs for the cutting teams and ensure that the work is delivered to excellent standards of safety, compliance, customer satisfaction within financial and production targets. Other responsibilities include surveying and auditing and occasionally Site Supervision (holding a Permit for Work). Working to contract specifications, agreed schedules and in accordance with company and statutory standards, you will carry out a range of duties ensuring day-to-day problems are dealt with and problems solved.

With a firm focus on customer service, compliance with Health and Safety regulation and the promotion of safe working practices.
- A formal qualification in Arboricultural or Forestry is preferred.
- Experience in an Arboricultural role.
- Experience in the safe operation of a broad range of powered machinery.
- Be personable with good negation skills.
- Utility experience and qualifications desirable
- e.g, Units UA1 and UA5
- A full uk driving license.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well alone.
- Excellent time management.

**Package**:

- Salary between £28,000 and £31,930 depending on experience on qualifications.
