**We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer to join ASDAN’s development and design team as a Lead Education Designer**.

ASDAN is an awarding organisation and curriculum development organisation, providing courses and education materials to engage, elevate and empower young people in greatest need. Our courses focus on developing personal, social and employability skills to support young people aged 11-25 as they take their next steps in learning, work and life. ASDAN’s courses are used by our members in schools, colleges, special schools, local authorities, training providers and other education providers across the UK and internationally.

The Development and Design (DAD) team are part of the Education Directorate, working closely alongside the Qualifications and Compliance teams. The DAD team are responsible for the development of course content and the design of course materials; our projects include teacher resource packs, learner workbooks and guidance documents. The team also work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to produce designs for social media graphics, flyers and other marketing materials. Another aspect of this role is working with the Relationship Management team to create training materials, used at ASDAN webinars to train educators to deliver ASDAN courses. This is an exciting vacancy for a motivated and creative individual with excellent design and visual communication skills, who wants to work for a charity with ambitious plans for the future with strong ethical vision and values. The DAD team will play a key part in ASDAN’s future education strategy, including our moves towards blended learning and e-learning solutions.

**Conditions of Service**

Contract: Permanent

**Salary**: £29,943 - £35,197 (band 5)

Pension: Scottish Widows. Post holder has option of two levels of contribution: employee 3% employer 6% or employee 6% employer 9%

Leave entitlement: 27 per annum days initially, rising an additional day per year to max 32 days, in addition to statutory bank holidays

Location: A hybrid of remote working and our office in St George, Bristol
