Eden Garden Centre is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The Kitchen Assistant will perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up and breaking down workstations, preparing ingredients for cooking, and cleaning up after dishes.
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team and perform daily tasks. The goal is to ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized, that all necessary food and supplies are on hand and ordered, and to maintain a positive work environment.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Ensuring basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Collecting and washing up kitchen crockery and utensils
- Cleaning food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery
- Unloading food and equipment deliveries
- Keeping the storeroom organised
- Keeping work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised
**Ability to use kitchen equipment such as knives, cutting boards, blenders, mixers etc is also required.**
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
**Salary**: £9.00-£10.50 per hour
