**As a member of our team at Allandale House you’ll help to create the safe and attractive surroundings that enable us to give our service users the quality care and support they deserve.**

**It’s important that our homes give the right first impression and that every area is always well-maintained.**

**Though within this post you will not have direct responsibility for service users care, as a care home it is important that you have a warm and friendly personality as you will have regular contact with our service users**

**To succeed in this role, you will need to have a can-do attitude, be hard working and be able to complete all work to a good standard and finish and focused on keeping the home maintained to the highest standards.**

**You will also need to be a good team player.**

**You will be responsible for repairs for the interior and exterior of the buildings.**

**Applicants must have**:

- **Painting and decorating experience.**:

- **Experience with general maintenance.**:

- **Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.**:

- **Comfortable working in teams and on your own initiative.**:

- **Good communication skills.**
