We are a friendly furniture import company based in Bicester (on the old Upper Heyford airbase). We pride ourselves on our friendly team, dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and importing furniture from across the globe, subsequently distributing it to retailers nationwide.

Currently, we are on the lookout for a dynamic Logistics planner to join our team, contributing to our office-based operations. At least 1 years experience working in a logistics role is required. Preferably in a transport or planning environment.

Upon joining us, you can expect comprehensive training covering various aspects of our business.

Job Role:
The position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

- Coordinating the maintenance and repair activities of our vehicle fleet through our in-house workshop.
- Collaborating in the daily route planning for our fleet to optimize efficiency.
- Acting as the line manager for our drivers, overseeing their performance and addressing any concerns.
- Managing and processing paperwork related to drivers.
- Facilitating communication between drivers and warehouse staff to ensure strict adherence to the "vehicle off-road" policy.

Key Skills:
We are seeking individuals with the following essential skills:

- Demonstrable experience in a line manager role.
- At least 1 year experience working in a logistics role, preferably in a transport or planning environment.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Good communication skills in order to deliver accurate information.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
