**Distribution Assistant/Driver**

**Bristol**

**£23,626 - £25,725**

As a **Distribution Assistant/Driver, **You will assist the distribution centre in preparing products for deployment as efficiently as possible. To ensure correct handling and process to provide high-quality customer service. Working closely with the Distribution Quality Controller to ensure that the correct products are available to complete jobs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collate daily paperwork and prepare products for Engineers/Operatives to ensure they can carry out their daily tasks in a timely and effective manner ‘Right First Time’ with the correct products
- Daily review of diaries for changes to work allocation and update/process changes accordingly.
- Build awareness and knowledge of skills of the Engineers to ensure work allocated meets their skills and escalate any concerns to the Distribution Centre Manager.
- Ensure that all goods/materials are ready for allocation to Engineers / Operatives in a timely manner.
- Complete weekly deliveries to Local Depos.
- Verify delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures from customers upon delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery schedules, proof of delivery, and mileage logs.

**Key Requirements**:

- Full UK Driving License: A valid and clean UK driving license is essential for this role.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery driving and stock control is advantageous.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail and effective time management abilities.
- Customer-Focused: Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

**Salary**: £22,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
