Works range from repair and maintenance, bathroom/ kitchen fit outs to full scale building renovations. The reason for this hire is due to continued business growth.

We are looking for joiners to work on our long-term contracts with local authorities. This work may involve installing windows/ doors, installing shop fronts, constructing stud walls etc. Depending on the contract, the work may either be in occupied or void properties.

Job Purpose:
This main aspect of this job role is to provide step and rail adaptations as part of a local authority contract in Blackpool. The work is to enable disabled/ vulnerable customers to access their properties more easily. Experience with vulnerable customers/ galvanised rails/ flagging and concreting is highly desirable.

Job Duties:

- Have good all-round hands on trade skills
- Be able to use a range of hand tools
- Strict adherence to company Health and Safety procedures
- **Galvanised rail installation**:

- **Flagging**:

- **Concreting**:

- Drainage
- Kerbing
- Paving
- Block paving
- Setting out foundation & drainage runs
- Bricklaying (desirable)
- Other construction related duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Good understanding of construction principles and procedures. - **must**
- Operate a manual transmission vehicle with full UK drivers licence. - **must**
- Good customer service skills - **must**
- CSCS Labourer Qualification (or equivalent). - preferred
- 2+ years’ construction industry experience - **must**
- Comfort working in varying weather conditions.

**Salary**: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 41.5 per week
