Hgv2 Driver

**Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently looking to recruit a Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for ad hoc laundry deliveries within Edinburgh and surrounding areas.**

**About this role**:

- Varying start times of 0400 / 0600 Monday to Friday, with the potential for additional weekend shifts. There may also be backshift options available, depending on client needs.
- Duties include the use of a tail lift to load / unload tall cages for the deliveries and collections of linen and laundry items.
- This is a physically demanding role so would suit someone who has had experience within the same or similar field.
- This role also includes completing daily vehicle checks, and dealing with some paperwork.
- As this can be a customer-facing role, good customer service skills are a must

**We ask that all applicants have**:

- Valid Class 2 Driving Licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards
- No more than 6 points on your licence (_DD, DR & IN endorsements are not accepted due to insurance stipulations_)

**Rate of pay (PAYE with holidays accrued)**:

- £11.50 p/h basic
- £15.33 p/h overtime (after 8 hrs per shift) & night rate
