We are looking to recruit a Visitor Services Team Leader within the Visitor Services Team of the Botanic Garden. Working pattern is 4 days per week, to include at least one Saturday or Sunday plus three variable days (including all Bank Holidays).

The role-holder is a member of the Garden's Visitor Services Team, leading the daily team of 3-5 Visitor Services Assistants. With the team, they act as the Garden's first point of contact with the majority of the Garden's visitors and assist the Head of Visitor Services, and their Deputy, with the management of the Visitor Services team and deputise for them in their absence.

They will be responsible for overseeing all daily visitor service operations, including responding to and managing unexpected incidents (first aid, bad weather etc) and ensuring that all visitors to the garden have an enjoyable and safe visit, by having a hands-on approach to leading the Visitor Services Team throughout the day.
