**Purpose**:
To own and govern all Information Security & Privacy activities for Levin Group, including compliance with all relevant Data Protection laws and ensure ongoing compliance to Information Security & Privacy standards, including all aspects of technology, controls,user awareness and 3rd party systems used by the Group.

**Position**:
Reports directly to the Group Chief Information Officer

**Responsibilities**

The role will work closely with the CIO to develop, deliver and maintain the Group’s InfoSec & Privacy Strategy, while providing expert knowledge of UK/EU GDPR, and other global data protection/privacy laws, and InfoSec best practices, ensuring Levin’s continuouscompliance.

**Duties (Data Protection/Privacy)**
- To build and maintain the Group Information Security Framework, including data protection policies & procedures in relation to the protection of personal data.
- To build & deliver InfoSec & Data Privacy training materials & programme. Ensuring all employees are trained and advised on the their obligations to adhere to laws and regulations when dealing with personal data.
- Conduct regular reviews of data protection/privacy laws and ensure Levin continuously adapts to these ever-evolving laws in all required jurisdictions.
- To work with the commercial team and wider business on the review and analysis of data protection/privacy addendums & clauses within commercial contracts, terms of business and any other relevant contractual agreement.
- Conduct, advice and inform on data protection & impact assessments (DPIA).
- To build and own the Groups business continuity & disaster recovery plan.
- Define and monitor the Group’s data retention policies & procedures.
- To identify, test and adapt the controls which may be established to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data, while ensuring data protection/privacy compliance.
- To chair monthly Data Protection / Privacy Working Committee’s.
- To manage & resolve all data protection/privacy service requests, while improving operational efficiency to reduce effort.
- Ensure all IT systems & processes are compliant with the Groups Data Protection / Privacy framework and local laws.**
**Duties (Information Security)**
- To build and maintain the Groups InfoSec & Privacy Strategy, ensuring continuous improvement of the Groups overall security posture & maturity.
- Responsible for Group wide InfoSec governance including effective policies & procedures, holding employees accountable where necessary.
- Ensure underlying IT systems are fit-for-purpose and complaint with the Groups IT and InfoSec framework, policies and procedures.
- To establish and maintain industry standard InfoSec & Privacy accreditations.
- To develop and own the Group’s cyber incident management processes.
- Responsible for maintaining the Groups IT Risk Management governance.

**Essential Skills & Experience**
- 4+ years experience in a senior InfoSec & Data Privacy role.
- Extensive knowledge of IT security controls and technology.
- Extensive Data Protection & Privacy knowledge & experience.
- Experience in obtaining InfoSec accreditations (ISO, CyberEssentials Plus etc).
- Ideally worked in a similar role within the Recruitment industry.
- CISSP qualified or equivalent.
