The opportunity has arisen for an exciting new role in Forensic Services, working within and existing admin team supporting the Forensic Services Senior Leadership Team. We are looking for a highly motivated and organised administrator to provide a high level efficient, comprehensive, and confidential administrative service to the Forensic Division, supporting the Investigation and Quality Improvement Plan processes.

To work with Department Leads and Patient Safety to coordinate/oversee the SI Investigation and respective QIP workload within the Forensic Division, allocating investigations and liaising with investigators/panels/action owners to ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.

To provide an administrative role and support to level 1 and level 2 investigation panels within Forensic Services if required.

To deal efficiently with all correspondence, monitoring telephone enquiries and providing information as appropriate.

To source and précis information as required.

To use Microsoft Excel to produce high quality reports, graphs and charts as requested within agreed deadlines

To collate data as required by the Forensic Division.

To update the Forensic risk register as required.

To convene and attend regular Directorate meetings as required; producing agendas and accurate minutes, making all necessary arrangements including the collation of papers and undertaking any follow up actions that may be required.

To deal efficiently with all correspondence, monitoring telephone enquiries and providing information as appropriate.

To type and compose letters, memoranda and other documentation as required.

To source and précis information as required.

To use Microsoft Excel to produce high quality reports, graphs and charts as requested within agreed deadlines

To collate data as required by the Forensic Division.

To update the Forensic risk register as required.

To convene and attend regular Directorate meetings as required; producing agendas and accurate minutes, making all necessary arrangements including the collation of papers and undertaking any follow up actions that may be required.

To maintain an efficient filing system including brought forward items to ensure that deadlines for response are met.

To deal with enquiries/ visitors including senior managers within the Directorate and at Trust level.

To liaise and deal with all external agencies, clients and carers.

To monitor, input, update and maintain information on relevant databases.

To undertake office duties, including filing, faxing, photocopying, dealing with incoming/ outgoing mail. Dealing with all telephone calls and associated duties in an efficient and timely manner.

To undertake any other duties that would be a reasonable expectation of the role.
