**Job Introduction**

**Main Responsibilities**

The SupplierRelationship Consultant reports into the Supplier Relationship Leader. We workclosely with the Strategic Buyers and the Procurement & SRM Admin team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with Key Contacts and the Suppliers to drive post contract value as well as identifying and managing/mitigating risks associated with those contracts Integration and embedding of our new Workday Strategic Sourcing system. Assist the SRL in delivering ourdepartmental objectives around supplier management. Challenging supplier performance to ensure adherence with pre agreed Service Level Agreements All supplier meetings to cover off the key policy points which are designed to minimise the risk to the Societyand to explore opportunities for cost and efficiency savings Create, maintain, and enhance working relationships with key suppliers as well as colleagues across the business including the Executive team, Senior Le
aders, Cost Centre Managers, Legal, InfoSec, Data Governance

Desirable - Procurement related negotiation techniques Basic understanding of contract law Current and proposed legislation and industry trends
