Depot Technician

Our client based in Manchester is seeking a Depot Technician to join them on a full time permanent basis 39 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Based at the depot, as Depot Technician, you will be responsible for dealing with content assessment and restoration following fire / flood damage, product disposal if not able to be restored, use of forklift to retrieve storage crates, keep the claims managementteam informed with restoration updates, liaison with insurers, builders, loss adjusters, customers, inputting real time updates and information, maintain contents log to ensure effective job monitoring, organising additional technician / agency staff to assistwith workload as required and oversee their workloads, keeping a record of temporary hours worked, maintain depot health & safety and organisation of restoration / cleaning areas.

To be considered for the role of Depot Technician, you will hold a valid fork lift licence, will have excellent communication skills, have experience of working to service level agreements and to deadlines, you will ideally have fire / flood damage experiencehowever these elements can be trained, a willingness to learn and further develop your skills set.

In return our client offers a starting salary of £21,000, plus 25 days paid annual leave and statutory holidays on top, annual bonus, pension, social events and much more.
