Centrica Energy is the trading arm of Centrica. We trade power, gas, LNG, and energy attributes and connect producers, suppliers and off takers in the wholesale energy markets - and we provide our clients with the best route-to-market services available to the market today with physical and financial settlement approaches. We’re a total of 850+ colleagues from over 50 different nations, located in 8 different offices around the world. At our London office, where this programme is allocated, you’ll be joining our international office with over 200 dedicated energy specialists.

The compliance team is pivotal to the success of Centrica and through the programme you can discover what life is like for our professionals.

**Here’s what you will be doing**:
Your placement will be within one of compliance teams, working at the heart of the function.

We want you to experience as much as possible and be able to soak up and learn about the wonderful world of Compliance and life at Centrica Energy. We will be with you throughout your journey to give you all the support you need

Throughout the programme, you will be provided with an unparalleled level of support with access to buddies, mentors, and experienced line managers, as well as having a ready-made network of graduates across the business to tap into.

**We have a few must-haves**:
We’re looking for passionate individuals who are analytical, curious, and willing to learn. In addition, we would like you to demonstrate:

- Flexibility to be in the central London office a minimum of 2 days a week
- Available for the full duration of the programme from mid June 2024 - June 2025
- Passionate about a career in Compliance
- Able to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Flexible and proactive with a can-do approach
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Capable of performing in a fast-paced environment
