Sales Assistant

**About us**

EVOLUTION FLOORING is a small carpet showroom in Amble, NE65 0PE.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Sales Assistant to join our team.
- Previous experience in a customer service role prefered
- Confident to work alone in the showroom (with phone access to team)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer-literacy
- Willing to cover holiday/sickness

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and provide assistance with product selection.
- Demonstrate product features and explain benefits to customers.
- Answer customer inquiries about products and services.
- Prepare quotations & invoices and follow up all enquiries
- Order products and arrange deliveries
- Taking payments in person or online

Hours:

- 2 Days weekdays 10am - 5pm
- Every other Saturday 10am - 3pm

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16.5 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Amble, NE65 0PE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
