Asbestos Trainer

**EDP** part of **RSK Group** are seeking an experienced and thorough **Asbestos Trainer**, to join our successful, experienced and expanding national asbestos team on a **Permanent,** **Full time** basis. This role will be **Home Based, **commutable to the **St.Helens **Office.

**EDP** is an international health, safety and environmental consultancy founded over 25 years ago with offices throughout the UK and with international operations in Australia, Singapore, and Ireland.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop asbestos training programs based on IATP requirements and based on current legislation, guidelines, and industry standards.
- Update training materials and sessions to reflect any changes in legislation to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Address client inquiries and concerns related to asbestos safety, regulations, and training.
- Prepare forecast of work and budget KPI expectations
- Provide guidance on the development and implementation of effective asbestos management plans.
- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the effectiveness of training programs.

Personal Specification:

- Excellent, confident communication skills, and be able to deliver in a professional manner
- An excellent understanding of the UK asbestos industry and legislation
- An impeccable attitude towards punctuality and time management
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work alone, or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A flexible approach to working hours, including staying away from home, as required
- Full driving licence
