RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for all the day-to-day ledger processes and responsibilities including:

- Monitoring both internal and external communications and responding to queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Enter and manage Customer information on to a CRM Database / within an Account Software.
- Purchase Ledger Accounts
- 3 way checking of Supplier invoices against PO & GRNs.
- Supplier payment allocations (Multi currency).
- Process new suppliers.
- Maintaining accurate records of Pro forma and Prepayments to oversea suppliers.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Credit Control within terms as set by our credit insurers.

This role is ideally suited to an individual who is wanting to take full control of the day-to-day ledgers and assisting in:

- Checking nominal coding and corrections where necessary.
- Ensuring both Open Sales and Purchase Orders reconcile.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure operations are not affected by non-processing of invoices or delays in resolving queries.

There is also an opportunity to progress within the company to become fully responsible for the business accounts.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately with ability to multi-task under pressure

Written and Verbal communication skills

Accounting software: Sage 50 / 200 / Odoo or similar.

Data entry skills for accurately inputting and updating records.

Organisation skills for managing different task simultaneously.

Able to meet deadlines, determine priorities.

Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information

GCSE or equivalents in Maths / English

AAT Bookkeeping Level 2 or Accounting Level 2 would be most advantageous.

Alternatively, Level 2 Certificates in Bookkeeping, Accounting, with equivalent (2 years) work experience in a similar roles such as Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Payable / Bookkeeper.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
