Sports Tour Co-ordinator

**Summary**

Living With The Lions is a small, privately owned sports travel company based in Conderton just outside Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire. We pride ourselves on the talent of our team and are currently looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic & passionate person to join our supporters team to assist in delivering high quality sports supporters' tours. As an Official Agent for Rugby World Cup, France 2023, you will be heavily involved with this event.

**The Role**:

- Sports Tour co-ordinator - Supporters and/or School Tours
- Full-time (37 ½ hrs/week) - Monday to Friday 0900 - 1730 hrs
- Salary competitive depending on relevant experience
- Participation in target driven annual bonus scheme

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Key Responsibilities**
- You will be part of a team reporting directly to the supporters operations manager with responsibility for organising the flights for our supporters tour as well as assisting with the operation of the tours and everyday client liaison. Destinations covered include the Caribbean, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Australia and Six Nations destinations (Cardiff, Edinburgh, Paris, Rome, Dublin). As an Official Agent for the Rugby World Cup in France, you will be involved in our RWC team for this event.

**Key skills, Knowledge, Experience required**

Applicants should:

- Have experience working within a group travel environment, in particular Sports Travel (beneficial but not essential).
- Experience of working with flights would also be beneficial though showing an aptitude to commanding an equivalent skill would also be considered
- Possess a strong eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy in their work.
- Demonstrate an infectious enthusiasm for the role with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Have a commercial focus, and possess good creative skills in terms of building itineraries and enhancing the tour experience whilst keeping within the budget.

Be able to manage your workload effectively, be well organised, flexible, determine priorities and act on your own initiative
- Feel confident to work on your own but to also be a team player and be on hand to assist your colleagues at times of pressure.
- Enjoy sport & have a basic knowledge of / interest in the key sports, rugby and cricket
- A first-hand knowledge of some of the key destinations would be desirable such as South Africa, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, Barbados, Saint Lucia and Antigua.
- Experience of working with airlines and booking flights is also desirable. This includes knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Galileo and Amadeus.
