**Food & Beverage / Meeting and Events Assistant (Casual) - Clayton Hotel Glasgow City / Maldron Hotel Glasgow City**

**We have a fantastic new vacancy for Food & Beverage/ Meeting and Events Assistant - DUAL PROPERTY.**

**Objective of the Role**

We are currently recruiting for experienced hospitality professionals to work between our two Glasgow hotels in our Food and Beverage and Meeting and Events department. You will have the flexibility to chose a work schedule that works for you whilst getting to work between two of our Dalata Brands.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly using their name.
- Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
- Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
- Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
- To offer the highest level of guest service in all Conference & Banqueting and Food & Beverage areas, ensuring the agreed standards are achieved at all times.
- To work as part of the team, being aware of colleagues and their needs, and being flexible with working hours.
- To promote sales within the department and across the hotel.
- To ensure that the C&B areas have safe working practices and that all spillages etc are tended to without delay.
- To ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of your departments standard operating procedures, particularly room set ups.

**Requirements**:

- Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star hotel property is desired but not essential.
- Previous experience in a high volume/ fast paced environment.
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
- Micros Experience would be preferable.
