Description:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with experience of building financial technology software supporting cross assets. In close collaboration with Sales, Product, Operations and Services teams you will strategically implement the high-level road map of new product lines for our alternatives offering, with a focus on EMEA.

You will report to the Global Head of Alternative Investment Solutions and will be responsible for defining market problems, develop user personas, document workflows, and build clear and concise business requirements for major functional groups and opportunities within your product.

**Responsibilities**:

- Market Management
- Understand competitive landscape, work with internal and external influencers and work with sales teams on scalable and repeatable solutions.
- Work with Solutions/ Product teams to understand client current requirements, challenges and how their operations will be enhanced by utilizing the Clearwater solution.
- Regularly stay abreast of industry changes to asset class domain and represent Clearwater as an industry expert
- Collaborate with development team on the design and building of features & ensure the team understands the business value of features
- Develop detailed requirements and track / manage JIRA
- Leverage asset class expertise to design products and features in the Clearwater system
- Communicate the roadmap and upon release of functionality
- Speak with internal stakeholders about product’s use case and future needs
- Measures success of new feature releases
- Develop a deep understanding of Clearwater’s product and expertise in alternatives asset classes
- Assist in defining the offering for asset classes and work with marketing to update materials
- Implement the product roadmap for the asset class.
- Define product capabilities necessary to capture high priority opportunities
- Work with product owners to turn capabilities into development ready products that can ultimately be delivered to customers
- Work with Sales/Ops/Client Services to prioritize development projects and incorporate onto CW road map (balancing new market growth with profitability (efficiency) and client experience)
- Develop and manage regular cadence to communicate product road map and releases to both internal and external stakeholders
- Research potential product development projects to understand the underlying problems
- Train users on new product functionality

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of experience in either financial services or financial technology with a focus on alternative investments
- Experience of a combination of the following asset types: LPs, derivatives and collateral, Bank Loans, private debt, mortgage loans
- Knowledge of industry challenges such as regional regulations
- Demonstrated success of putting client success at the heart of your decisions
- MS Office and Salesforce
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to synthesize and communicate results of data analysis
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
