Complementary therapy support is offered to both inpatients on the wards and outpatients in the therapy suite and day units. On occasion Intensive Critical Care ward. Patients will generally be receiving medical treatments which will reflect the degree of complementary therapy support required. The work can be both challenging and rewarding.

Hours will be on an as and when basis, and currently this is working up to 2 days per week.
- Recognised degree qualification in one or more complimentary therapy or diploma plus experience to degree level.
- Current membership of a professional body.
- Evidence of recent and relevant experience of working within the NHS or other equivalent healthcare setting.
- Good IT skills.
- Evidence of on-going continuous professional development.
- Evidence of good communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective report writing skills.
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Effective organisation and time management skills.
- Has understanding / experience of adult / child safeguarding.

We can only consider multi skilled therapists for this post to meet the individual support patients require. Please give details of clinical experience.

We are looking for qualified and insured multi skilled complementary therapist/clinical therapist to join the Staff Bank Team. You will be working in a busy oncology centre at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care, you must also be a member of a governing body such as FHT, CNHC etc.
