**About the role**:

- You will be helping to embed robust testing processes into the business, coaching and supporting colleagues across the whole business in testing best practices.
- Reporting to the IT Programme Manager, you will be a key role in leading testing within the Programme structure, leading daily stand-up meetings and defect triage calls.
- There is flexibility on where you work from, with the expectation to come into the office or travel across the business when needed.

**Key responsibilities**:

- This is a varied and challenging role, but here is a taste of what your day-to-day activities could include:

- Providing advice and guidance/best practice on any aspect of test planning and execution such as functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing and support user acceptance testing.
- Creation and management of test strategies and accompanying documentation with realistic timelines and plans for project delivery.
- Develop and enhance stakeholder relationships. Dealing with problems, defects and issues, managing resolutions, lessons learned, and the collection and dissemination of relevant information.
- Motivating, coaching and developing employees across the whole of the business in relation to ensuring projects are delivered to best practice and testing skills are developed and strengthened.
- Identifying improvements and supporting the development of policies, standards, and guidelines for testing with relevant knowledge contribution.

About you:

- You will be an experienced Test Lead having worked with developers, product specialists, business stakeholders and suppliers. Showcasing a strong knowledge of testing methodologies, industry standards and tools.

- Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of test automation framework
- Able to influence and negotiate
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
