We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team and contribute to our commitment to excellence in craftsmanship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate specialized woodworking machinery to fabricate bespoke door frames according to design specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings to produce custom door frame components.
- Perform precision machining and joinery techniques, including cutting, shaping, and assembly of wood materials.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the production manager to optimize manufacturing processes and meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials used and work-in-progress inventory.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Machinist in bespoke door frame manufacturing or related woodworking industry.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints to produce custom wood components.
- Attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship with a focus on delivering high-quality products.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- null, CB23 2TA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
