**Warehouse Storeman - Join our Growing Team**

JB Components is an SME located in Gateshead and is a leading provider of components and raw materials for the truck bodybuilding industry. We are growing and thus require a committed and experienced storeman to join our small team.

A varied role where you will be responsible for checking in and putting away goods in their correct location. Ideally, you will have demonstrable experience in a stores environment.

To ensure that you excel in your role, we will provide you with the supervision and training to help you learn the job role and give you a platform to feel comfortable with any task.

**Storeman Duties**
- Be responsible for the flow of materials including the putting away/storage of goods
- Accept deliveries and complete the appropriate steps in relation to the goods inwards procedure
- Controlling the location and availability of parts and materials
- Manage stock
- Maintain warehouse location accuracy and stock inventory
- Manage inbound and outbound products
- Process any documents relating to the booking in of material/ any customer returns.
- Work alongside the operations manager to optimise efficiency and resource utilisation through improved locations/processes and procedures
- Perform prescribed stock checks and reconciliation when required
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness in the stores area
- Provide support to the warehouse when required, which may include picking goods/attending the trade counter.

Working Hours
- Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Holidays
- Starting with 20 days of annual leave, which increases to 25 days after your second calendar year. We don’t work bank holidays so aren’t part of your allowance.

Bonus
- Eligibility for an annual bonus after one year of work, based on company and individual performance.

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gateshead, Tyne and Wear: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
