**Apprentice Electrician - Infinity**

Infinity specialises in a variety of property compliance, maintenance, and management solutions on behalf of Local Authorities, commercial partners and Housing Associations across the UK.

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an Apprentice Electrician to join our well established team in Barnsley on a full time full-time basis, completing a NVQ Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician course.

**The Role**

The Apprentice Electrician you will undertake development activities and formal training, gaining crucial experience while developing alongside our experienced electrical team. You will learn how to:

- Carry out electrical installations and repairs to the current Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) wiring requirements and BS 7671
- Work from detailed electrical specifications, design drawings and circuit diagrams
- Test and inspect electrical installations to current IEE requirements
- Work with a wide range of electrical installations and specialist equipment such as fire Alarms, emergency lighting and controls, etc.

If you are an enthusiastic individual that is willing to develop a career within the industry, this opportunity is perfect for you. We are looking for you to display the following:

- A minimum of five C grade GCSE’s including Maths, English and Science or equivalent.
- Ability to work at heights and within confined spaces
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- A full, clean UK drivers’ licence to meet travel requirements
