Are you an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for an exciting opportunity in a good academy? Are you passionate about supporting students' learning and helping them reach their full potential? We have a rewarding position available for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at a Good Secondary academy in Stevenage.
Join this well run and supportive Academy who are backed by a Great trust of schools with sites across Hertfordshire and north London. Well known for their training, development and retention (especially for trainee teachers, graduate TAs) they offered structured CPD and routes into teacher training. We are actively seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team and make a positive impact on our students' educational journey.
**Key Responsibilities**:
** Deliver high-quality support and intervention to students, both individually and in small groups
** Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons across key stages 3 and 4
** Support students with special educational needs, including those with autism, ensuring their individual needs are met
** Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
** Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to implement individual education plans (IEPs) effectively
** Promote students' social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and guidance
**Requirements**:
** Relevant qualifications and experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
** Experience working with students with autism or special educational needs is essential
** Strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies
** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
** Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to support the diverse needs of students
** Passion for making a difference in students' lives and contributing to their overall development
