As well as holding an Educational Mental Health Practitioner qualification, you will also have experience of working with children and young people and their families. With the role involving working with children and young people in their school setting, you will ideally have had experience of working with children and young people in a healthcare or education setting. The role involves working with school staff in order to support the mental health of children and young people, as well as liaising with a wide variety of agencies and stakeholders.
