Rutland Gardens is a 10 bedded Specialist Recovery ward in the community. The clinical team here include Support workers, Nurses, a Consultant Psychiatrist, Occupational therapists, Peer support workers, and volunteers. The unit is staffed 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and is largely self-contained in the day to day functions of the unit. We pride ourselves on putting the care of our residents and their families first, and support each other to deliver a high standard of care. Our residents are all experiencing mental health challenges, and some have additional or complex needs. This means that the clinical staff are often busy providing care and treatment and really value the support of a ward administrator. We are looking for a motivated, flexible and compassionate person to join our established team.
- Providing a Reception service to the unit
- Ordering and maintaining stock
- Managing petty cash
- Uploading patient notes onto *Carenotes
- Taking minutes for team meetings
- Other appropriate administrative tasks relative to the role

To provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to the ward team. To liaise with other departments and services and to respond effectively to enquiries from the general public, service users, referrers and other agencies. To consistently deliver a client focussed service,
which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships.
The Ward Administrator will provide a full administrative service, having daily liaison with a wide range of staff at all levels and regular contact with people who use services and their carers, who may at times be distressed or angry. The Ward Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the office environment for the team and be responsible for the safe keeping and maintenance of patient files accordingly to Trust policy and procedure.
