Yr7 Sen Teacher

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a successful SEN school in the New Forest area who are known for offering outstanding education and care for students with Asperger's Syndrome and other associated needs.
They cater for pupils aged from 7 - 19 years and have extensive grounds and facilities including an outdoor swimming pool, an angling lake and grass and hard-court areas for recreational activities. The school is set between Brockenhurst and Lymington witheasy access to the New Forest and the seaside.

The are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join them in January on a full-time, on-going contract. This is an open vacancy so there is an opportunity of a permanent position for the right person. They are also happy to take on someone who is looking fora long term contract until they are in a position to recruit.
The suitable teacher will be someone who is patient, kind, firm and consistent yet nurturing, and most importantly somebody who is able to stay calm under pressure.

You will be joining a supportive team who are committed to providing the best opportunity to provide their pupils with the best start in life. Experience of working with children with SEN/challenging behaviour would be an advantage but not essential whenapplying.
