Evening Laundry Assistant

We are looking for two hands on Laundry assistants to help with the general day to day operation. This is a hands on role and involves evening shifts of 4hrs per evening and some weekends

You will need to be flexible with regard to your daily duties depending on the customer & business needs of the day.

We offer services in all types of Laundry, ironing and Dry cleaning for all type of fabrics from everyday clothes/garments, bed & table linen to specialist items such as Curtains, wedding dresses. leathers and silks. In fact everything you would expect from a traditional Dry cleaners, accept we use our alternative, Environmentally friendly 'Wet' cleaning process. We deal with both domestic and commercial Customers.

Responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring completion of set amount of production work being completed ready for the next day.
- Using Epos computers and IT software to book in work, track items & record keeping
- Packing items ready for customer and delivery drivers
- Quality checking finished items to a very high detailed standard
- Working in a diligent and safe manner with all equipment
- Duties will include Ironing / pressing of garments & all aspects of Laundry work

Training will be provided for all the above

Job Requirements / desirable experiences / skills
- Passionate about getting the days duties completed on time
- You will need to be flexible in your attitude to performing different duties throughout the shift
- Attention to detail and a desire to achieve a quality finish is essential
- Can be a physically demanding role, with some lifting of heavy laundry bags and being on your feet most of the day.
