**Lecturer in British Politics**:
**Are you a British Politics expert with ambition to work in a research-intensive Russell Group University? Are you also passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience?**

The School of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) is looking for a lecturer in British politics who will add to our growing strengths in one of two areas of our research and teaching activity.

First, we encourage applicants who can expand our existing British politics expertise with an established reputation for work in the politics of gender, race, disability, and/or sexuality in contemporary Britain.

You will be expected to build a strong portfolio of research and teaching, help advance the School’s undergraduate and graduate curriculum in politics, pursue funded research projects, contribute to the growth and development of one or more of our research centres, and support our vibrant community of PGR research students.

With a PhD in Political Science or a closely related discipline and a sustained track record of producing research outputs of internationally excellent quality in British Politics, you will also have experience of successful public engagement and/or the ability to communicate research effectively to a range of audiences.
