Key Responsibilities
- Adopt and promote a Zero Harm workplace attitude, drive improvement in Health and Safety
- Promotion of a positive health and safety culture
- Observation and adherence of the SimsMMway Safety Golden Rules
- Lead and manage a team of people
- Develop staff to reach their objectives and develop their capabilities
- Promote continuous improvement wherever possible
- Participate and drive growth strategies for the site
- Ensure that Customers/Clients receive excellent customer service and value
- Regularly communicate with other sites on relevant information
- Provide support as required by covering Weighbridge, Mobile Plant, Banksman duties etc.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent knowledge of relevant Environmental, Health and Safety legislation.
- Relevant experience of metals recycling processes
- Previous experience of having worked with non-ferrous / ferrous door trade
- Fork lift license and JCB license would be advantageous
- 360 machine operating experience would be advantageous
- Experience using a weighbridge would be an advantage
- ICT skills including Microsoft Office
