**Environmental Sustainability Coordinator - Biodiversity, Chemistry & Water**
**Location: Dublin or Reading**
**Reporting to: Senior Environmental Sustainability Manager**

In support of our Primark Cares sustainability strategy and the delivery of our wider environmental sustainability programme, we continue to actively focus considerable effort on a wide range of critical environmental initiatives which have the potential to shape our global operation and the wider fashion industry. To support the growth of these cross-thematic programmes, this role will actively support the coordination and delivery of activities related to Primark’s Biodiversity, Chemistry and Water Stewardship Programmes.

**What You’ll Do**:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

- Supports the development, implementation and coordination of the Biodiversity, Chemistry and Water Stewardship programmes
- Supports the development and implementation of standard operating procedures to improve programme deployment & delivery
- Monitors, analyses, and reports on programme inputs from suppliers/facilities across our global supply base
- Coordinates monitoring of supplier/facility performance against relevant management programmes, informing updates to tools and approaches as needed
- Works closely with the Biodiversity, Chemistry and Water Stewardship teams Proactively communicates with all stakeholders, providing a constant point of contact for internal teams on biodiversity, chemistry and water stewardship

**What You’ll Bring**

- Relevant academic qualification preferred, such as environmental, life or natural sciences.
- Strong understanding of environmental sustainability concepts and a clear understanding of their importance to business
- Relevant professional certification preferred, but can be worked towards in role if not yet achieved
- Expertise in conducting research and a demonstrable ability to analyse data
