**REWARD AND PENSION MANAGER**
We are currently seeking a pro-active Reward and Pension Manager to continue the reward and pensions services within this established and highly esteemed charity based in Bristol.
Reporting to the HR Director, this role will be responsible for managing different Reward and Pensions initiatives to secure a balance between controlling costs and improving employee engagement and retention. This role will support the business by providinga strategic lead and compliance on all reward and pension matters, promoting, and mainstreaming the wider benefits of equality and diversity both as a service provider, with its customers and within the workforce.
**Key Results Areas**:
- Manage the annual salary review and bonus cycles
- To assess the implications of changing legislation and make recommendations.
- Conduct benchmarking exercises to evaluate competitors’ offerings.
- Manage third party suppliers such as payroll and monitor the payroll interface to ensure compliance & data integrity is adhered to.
- Responsible for the improvement, design and development of the basic reward structures in the business (job levels, job description policy, promotion policy, retirement planning, incentive schemes etc.) and ensure they are aligned to the culture and values.
- Deal with and advise on exceptions in remuneration areas (pay mix etc.).
- Ensure all forms of communications are clear, timely, and relevant and in line with the plain English campaign.
- Any other reasonable task as advised from time-to-time
**Person Specification**
- Successful track record as Reward and Pensions Manager in large, complex, unionised organisations.
- Ability to take a pro-active lead on the reward and benefits agenda at senior level and able to engage confidently and effectively at board level.
- Provide a strategic overview on reward and benefits matters, delivering advice and guidance on reward, benefits, pensions, compensation issues to support board members and senior managers.
- Ability to provide professional support and advice on reward, benefit and pension issues on staffing matters and key Management Information / Dashboards.
- Demonstrable experience of working collaboratively with staff at all levels and enabling the reward and benefits agenda to be embedded in the organisation.
- Coach staff and project manage resources who do not directly report to you to achieve shared objectives.
- Ability to lead and implement policies, papers, presentations, documents on reward and benefits issues to a range of audiences. Confidence in presenting to audiences.
- Demonstrable experience of working with staff at all levels and enabling the reward and benefits agenda to be embedded in the organisation.
