**About the job**:
As a senior leader, the Chief HR Officer will have a pivotal role delivering the operational and strategic HR agenda at a hospital level.

You will partner with the executive team to understand strategic priorities and interpret them into HR actions, alongside driving forward the corporate and local business HR strategy, including engagement, reward, and organisational design and recruitment initiatives.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Lead the local implementation of HCA’s HR strategy and objectives with the support of two HR Business Partners
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior management teams
- Coaching Heads of Departments on correct Employee Relations practice, advising them on appropriate workforce structure design and their people strategy
- Managing complex employee relations and performance management issues
- Ensuing the development of the local HR team and acting as a point of escalation
- Up-skilling managers in their roles to become effective in managing performance, recruitment, engagement and learning and development

**Skills and Experience**
- CIPD Qualified and extensive experience as a HR Leader
- Experience of working as a business partner, providing a consultative approach and HR solutions.
- In-depth Employee Relations experience (performance, conduct and capability)
- Experience in the management of restructures, redundancies and redeployment
- Workforce planning experience is desirable.
