Forklift/telehandler Driver

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles throughout the day
- Ensure production lines have the correct produce delivered when required
- Record weights and complete relevant paperwork
- Keep the yard area clean and tidy
- Maintain health, safety and hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations
- Take responsibility for maintenance checks on company vehicles
- Be able to drive agricultural tractors and telehandlers on site when required
- Able to carry out machinery and property maintenance
- Work on a vegetable washing and grading line facility
The role could suit an experienced yard or forklift operative looking for more variety or someone from an agricultural or food background with suitable skills. A can do attitude is important as is the ability to understand agricultural and food production cycles.
Usual hours are 7am until 5pm Monday to Friday plus every other Sunday (usually a half day). During peak grading periods, hours will increase and vary. Flexibility required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
