We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of **Community Care Worker/Home Care Assistant** to join our amazing team here at **Seren Support **based in the **Bridgend** area.

**Things to note**:
1. We don't offer sponsorship.

2. You do need your own car (we care for people in their own homes)

3. We can only hire female staff due to the current needs of our Client's

4. We'd like to speak with people who are like us - kind, compassionate, good with people and love helping others :)

**Working hours each week**: We offer hours from 20 hours per week to full time hours.

**Location**: This particular role is based in the **Bridgend** area and surrounding towns.

**Pay**: We pay excellent hourly rates of Standard £11.00 per hour and Social Scare Wales Registered £11.20 per hour with mileage paid at 40p per mile and travel time at £10.42p per hour

**Working times**:We have excellent working hours which will offer something for everyone. Our shift options are:

- Shifts between 7am - 3pm
- Shifts between 4pm - 10:30pm
- Shift Pattern 1 - We offer bank hours for people who require more flexibility and would like something different from week to week.
- Shift Pattern 2 - This is working 2 long days per week
- Shift Pattern 3 - This is working AM shifts and or PMS 3/4 days a week on a rolling roster.
- Shift Pattern 4 - Full time rolling roster 3/4 days per week

We operate our services throughout Neath Port Talbot, Powys and Bridgend in South Wales.

We respond to the needs of our service users 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help them make the most out of life.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
