**What will you be doing?**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Communications Specialist to join our HR Team working within our European Manufacturing business. The role empowers you to lead and deliver a proactive communications strategy that engages our workforce and reflects our standing as a global contact lens manufacturer.

Specifically you will
- Take the lead in designing the communications needed to support change management programmes/projects for employees and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Senior HR Director - European Manufacturing Operations(EMO) and Global Technical Innovations Group (GTIG) to design, deliver and continually evaluate the effectiveness of our pro-active two-way communications channels to ensure they drive engagement with our colleagues
- Post on to social media stories of company events, successes, employee achievements.
- Communicate initiatives involving Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); Wellbeing and Charity events.
- Take the lead to maintain and continually enhance our mobile based app and digital posters as a medium to communicate to employees.
- Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation.

**What key skills and experience should you have?**
We would ideally like you to have the following:

- Previous role as a Communications Specialist/Manager who has worked with Senior Managers and Directors
- Able to demonstrate successful experience using technology and multiple channels to generate communications innovatively to a wide audience.
- Foundational Change Management work experience with 1-3 years integrated change management methodology experience would be beneficial
- Skilled at generating compelling, engaging and creative presentations and collateral.
- Demonstrated ability to use multiple channels effectively to deliver communications
- Excellent Project Coordination and Communication skills
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities
