We are currently seeking to recruit a capable Control Panel Wireman/Builder/Electrical Fitter for our well-established business that prides itself on delivering exceptional high quality and innovative solutions working in various industrial sectors, with a strong leaning towards material handling solutions and Logistic Solutions. We want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of wiring control panels for automation systems.

**The Role**:
As a Control Panel Wireman/ Builder/Electrical Fitter you will be primarily responsible for wiring control panels from start to finish

Typical Duties within the role:

- Reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, schedules, and layout drawings
- Marking out for component fit, fitting of components to chassis plates
- Wiring control panels for automation & Motor Control Drive systems
- Quality checking the control panels for any faults and remedy
- Work quickly and methodically to ensure that build times are adhered to
- Maintain all appropriate documentation
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Be prepared to travel in the UK for site integration work
- Willing to work overtime as requested by the company

**The Person: Skills & Experience Required**
- 2+ Years’ Experience of assembling and wiring control panel and systems. Ideally be time served / completed apprenticeship as an Electrical Fitter / Panel Wirer, Electrical Engineer.
- Relevant electrical qualifications.
- 18th Edition Qualified is desirable but not essential
- Electrical Inspection and Test C&G 2391 is desirable but not essential
- Good communicational (oral, reading and writing) skills.
- PC competent - MS Word / MS Excel
- Full UK Drivers Licence

**Salary & Benefits**:

- £25,000 - £30,000 pa (based on experience and qualifications)
- The basic working week is 40 hours (Mon - Fri) and the standard working hours are 08:00- 16:30
- 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- 30 minutes lunch and 2 x 15-minute breaks
- O/T up to x1.5
