Bartender

BAR STAFF WANTED

We are looking to recruit a Part Time Bar Staff Member to join our busy team here at The Crown Inn Appleby Magna.

Applicants must be 18 or over. Experience is preferable, however full training will be provided. Must be able to work weekends.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere
- use a till to take orders and payments
- handle cash
- serve drinks at the bar or at the table
- keep the bar clean and well stocked
- give advice on drinks to suit customers' tastes
- collect glasses and wash up

You will need:

- customer service skills
- excellent verbal communication skills
- active listening skills
- the ability to sell products and services
- to be thorough and pay attention to detail
- to enjoy working with other people
- a good memory
- the ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
- to be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour
