This role would be suitable for a Sous Chef looking to step up for a first Head Chef role and also has the support of a really strong GM on site who will assist and work very closely with the Head Chef.
A great opportunity to join a leading Contract Caterer in a lovely site based in Canary Wharf, this is to lead a staff dining kitchen and manage a kitchen team of 5/6. There will also be a small amount of hospitality which will be cold buffets and sandwichlunches.
This is a Monday to Friday role only with no evenings or weekends required. You will cater for around 200 - 300 on a daily basis and will have breakfast service and lunch to cater for. This will be Hot Main, Grab and Go, Deli Bar, Composite Salads and ThemeBar.
This role would suit an experienced staff dining head chef from a contract catering background who has good experience of street food concepts and what is hot on the high street.
As with most sites your key busy days will be Tue-Thu and quieter on Monday and Friday. You will need experience in writing weekly menus's and have good knowledge of allergen awareness and costings.
