Yard Worker

A vacancy has arisen for a full time Yard Operative with us at Dave Peat Waste Ltd.

The role will involve the sorting and processing the contents of skips, for reclamation or reuse, general labouring, as well as assisting customers and keeping the yard tidy and organised. You will help assist with the unloading and weighing of material and must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.

The successful applicant must have a positive attitude, be health and safety conscious, be a good team player and have a hands-on approach. They must also have good customer service skills and enjoy working outdoors in all conditions.

Forklift ticket and /or other machinery experience would be an advantage but not essential as training can be provided for the right applicant.

Full time position - Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm with paid breaks.

Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour
