Robert Half is extremely proud to partner with a very innovate and unique global leader with operations in UK to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to work along side a very driven and supportive line manager based in Towcester.

Office based and paying £50,000 to £60,000 plus 6% employer pension (3% employee), 25 days annual leave plus bank hols and 4x Life assurance.

**Job Summary Profile**

The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst is responsible for the financial planning and analysis of the company, allowing the organisation to make well-informed commercial decisions. The FP&A Analyst should have the ability to determine best use of resourcesto achieve business objectives. They will be expected to produce regular reports using financial data, and work collaboratively across the entire finance team to analyse business performance and strategy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan
- Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
- Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
- Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
- Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
- Utilizing BI tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance
- Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost centre results
- Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost-saving initiatives
- Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
- Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
- Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
- Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts, and profitability
- Act as the "eyes and ears" of the organisation, acting as a central liaison between the corporate and operations teams

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- 5+ years of experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role
- Professional qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

**Skills & Competencies**
- Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Significant analytical skillset, including the utilisation of BI and reporting tools
- Able to solve complex problems
- Communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Influencing and interpersonal skills
