To liaise with the relevant supervisors regarding requests for special diets and any other issues with the patient menu cards. To raise any queries with special diets with the hospital dietitians to ensure patients receive the correct diet. To communicate on a daily basis with patients, nursing staff and colleagues. Contact with nursing staff & patients may be either face to face within the hospital or by the receiving of telephone requests into the department for extra meals or special diets.
To liaise with Managers and Supervisors daily and act upon any specific tasks required. Report any equipment faults or Health and safety issues to the supervisors as and when they may arise. Visit wards when required to resolve any issues or problems with the patient menu card system. FULL JOB DESCRIPTION ATTACHED
