**GENERAL SUMMARY**:
The CNC Miller will be responsible for the operation of CNC Machinery including Heidenhain milling machine Vertical FP50 with use of right angled heads as well DMG 180 5 axis with Siemens control including the self inspection of finished goods from the machine to ensure process control is maintained. Responsible for following all health and safety codes which involve machinery.

**PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)**:

- Operate CNC Machinery including Heidenhain milling machine and DMG 180 siemens control 5 axis.
- Quality assurance inspection of parts according to drawing
- Maintain efficiency records of equipment
- Perform safety and housekeeping tasks
- Perform all machine set up duties
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks

**SKILLS**:

- Strong numeracy/mathematical skills are essential.
- Mechanical skills
- Must be capable of operating CNC Milling machines and manual machinery including jib cranes.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Time served Machinist apprenticeship
- Machine operation experience in manufacturing setting.
- Experience on CNC Mills machines essential.
- Programming experience preferred, at least able to read/edit competently.
